Austin passed Nathan Bramhall on the dam and beat him by a minute or so. I then waited with him for a while, then we went out to find my dad (his grampa). We ran out, found him and jogged back with him. Grampa's time was 1:56. Austin didn't have a watch, but our best guestimate is that he came in at about 1:23 or 1:24. As you can see, if we had to wait around a while and then go find somebody who came in at 1:56, it's impossible that Austin's time is correct.
We were careful not to put our timing chips near the table as we came across the second time.
To both of you I am sure you are correct. Sports Connection timing royally messed up. We will be sorting this out, this list is not finalized.

Thank you for all your time sorting this mess out. It WAS an awesome race, and I will do it again next year with or without a timing chip.
Thank you for getting the times sorted out. At this point I'm just happy to get an overall time though I am quite disappointed to not have the break down of my different splits. Please, please don't use these guys again for timing. The whole scanning the wrist band thing was problematic and annoying as well as the lack of power back up and results. The race was beautiful and went quite smoothly. However, not having my timing info cheapens the experience. I plan on doing it again next year...if you have a different timing company.
Beautiful day and venue. Sorry about the timing mess. It was not the first race with timing issues and surely not the last. I hope you get a refund on the timing. I had a bad feeling about the timing crew, when I ask at packet pickup about confirming that the chip worked and was brushed off.
Here is another timing correction, Ian Anderson 17yo, finished 3rd overall for the sprint. The time is not on the results. He received his award in the ceremony after the race.

I would love to take the time you posted, but I am sure that I did not beat my husband as he was finishing the run as I was starting. Will we ever get accurate results for overall time? Vicki Linton
This is frustrating. We were asked to contact the timing guy with corrections and were told revised results would be done my October 1. These results are NOT even close to be accurate. Either take the results off the website or post corrected results.
The race was great! My best time yet. Unfortunately, your time has me almost 6 minutes slower than I should be. I clocked myself at 1:40:00. The other races I've been in use millisecond timing. It seems to work out great. Something to check into. Anyway, beautiful day, great race!
